Secretary William Dar leads the DA-BFAR Management Committee Meeting onboard research vessel M/V DA-BFAR

Joining the meeting are officials from the Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA), the National Fisheries Research and Development Institute (NFRDI), and members of the National Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Management Council (NFARMC) as part of the efforts of the Department to harmonize its priority programs and projects.

Among the agenda is the presentation of BFAR's and PFDA's accomplishments, plans and programs. The Secretary will also give his Directives that will help further align their initiatives with the Department's "New Thinking" Approach, following the Eight Paradigms, for the attainment of DA's twin goals of "Masaganang Ani at Mataas na Kita."
